From the other Envoy thread. We will have over 30 in September..and that is before the announcement of pay increases...just don't want people to forget how horribly inaccurate and false most of your statements are.

There sure is a lot of math happening based on flow increasing to 40/month and staying 40/month. I'm finally feeling optimistic about the future of Envoy, but the guys acting like 40/month is a done deal that will be permanent, well...that's a little far fetched as of right now. All we know is that AA asked Envoy to send 40/month next year. No talk of specifically when and no talk of how long they'd like us to send that many. Lets cool off on making that figure gospel until we have a little more info on that.

October lines are largely 4 on/2 off. Between 11 and 15 days off. Many are uncommutable. Reserve rules are currently pretty bad, 11 days off, junior guys typically start at 4am on the first day. With movement you should get off reserve quicker than in the past. Senior local people (like myself) bid reserve anyway because the lines are so bad. Senior reserve if you live local is tolerable. No duty or trip rigs, but you are pay protected 100% for cancellations. Junior manning (forced to work on your off day) happens often when staffing is poor. Staffing is always poor. Best of luck.

Upgrade, not guaranteed
Flow definitely not guaranteed
Contract changes are at least there to grieve when they ignore them.
Also, all of these changes can be pulled. As Sam said today, these raises are temp.

I generally like where I am now, but I gotta admit this is pretty tempting...similar money for a much easier commute. (Two legging it right now). I would like to find out about medical benefits, bidding, training footprint, etc. Anyone willing to answer my questions via pm?

Lol... you find one guess I made that turned out to be wrong and that makes "most" of my statements false? I'll be the first to admit I am glad I was wrong about only getting 10.

Currently, envoy's most junior Captain = 8.5 years. Most junior flow through = 16+ years. Recent announcement is strictly bait to attract new hires.
Reserve life at envoy sucks. Hard line-holder at envoy also sucks. Mostly non-commutable 4-day trips with 11 days off a month. No duty or trip rigs.
Horrible quality of life at envoy right now. I'd seek elsewhere.
