If you feel like you can't do anything else but fly, I understand. But I can willfully say Envoy is not the top notch place to be. If I was you and felt the desire to start over in the airline race, I would look into something different like corporate flying. But that's just me. Now that I have a family to support, I'm stuck here unless one of the majors is interested. Yes I've applied, like everyone else has.

Before I begin, let me first disclose that Skyvector (also CR700) are the head recruiting company men on this forum. Well before other screen name, Dacuj, who got banned for threatening termination because people where speaking too truthful about the working conditions. This guy was on the Spirit thread telling Spirit guys to abandon their current jobs to come to Envoy. But I digress.
My point is Skyvector is another one, just not as crazy I guess.
The schedules here are horrible. This company ,after bankruptcy mind you, closed two bases and caused major disruption in pilots personal lives. All because we turned down the offer for concessions. The corporate leader who presented this deal threatened the union saying, "If you don't take this deal, we will close the doors and liquidate the assets", in other words they will can the whole company if we say no deal. Pilots, FAs, everyone. Now, they have seen the error in their ways and have opened one of the two bases, but still it's like they are always five steps behind things. BTW, still no apologies from leadership for the COMAIR II bit. I find that disturbing.
Anyways, schedules keep getting worse. Always 4 on 2 off, reserve sucks, at least for the mid to lower half on the reserve list. I've gotten numerous derogatory missed assignment codes in the last year than my whole 10 years tenure. All of them from adhering to our union contract. The corporate culture is toxic. The safety culture is a joke. They teach you safety first and you find out later it's on time performance first. The other labor groups try their hardest to blame you for delays when they know it isn't your fault. They are super paranoid about sick time use. I've had multiple sick occurrences, all with docs notes, and they are still hounding me about them. The company is never in your corner for doing what is right, what is safe. I actually removed myself from duty for not being fit. Their response? Missed assignment.
Yeah the flow is good, but.... I don't know what it's like at your current regional. I know I'll get some groans for saying it but Envoy is turning into Mesa with flow.

Nobody is forcing you to stay at Envoy. So why are you still here? I'm sure you could be on call 24/7 at a corporate outfit flying a legacy until they decide to sell it and then your on the street. Any job in aviation will take advantage of you until your ****ed off and disgruntled. Yes, even legacies. Insurance company's are always hiring along with line guys at any FBO. Your QOL will be better there and maybe you can move into management. You don't have to stay in aviation or the airlines. Go be happy, my friend.
