Within a year. May I assume you'll be on "R" A LONG TIME?

Maybe I should apply to Envoy?

Hired at Silver and Via but not sure what the hell to do.

Only at envoy would this be a possibility. Fix reserve and offer incentive and this wouldn't be necessary. But I think they'd have to run a displacement bid to make that actually happen. Section 15.K.4. We need 15 days notice before displacement is run.

Will the next class have ORD 175 or is it too early? I assuming not many will want to transfer.

Too early to tell. I'm guessing there will be a lot of ORD 175 in the next handful of classes though.

My mistake from the company email. 15.G.4 provides them the ability to do this. The union needs to provide some guidance on this. If they know the company is going to use this provision they need to let people know.

So they can FORCE an FO to upgrade to CA in a displacement if they meet set requirements and need the CAs? And if so, is it just 1000 121 or what else? Don't have access to CBA... I can't imagine this to be true...

The garbage contract reads "If there are insufficient bidders for a vacancy, pilots may be assigned to such vacancy in reverse order of seniority among those pilots who meet the minimum qualifications to enter training for said position."

This is opening a can of worms, I bet people within a year of flow will proffer to displace. Then the waterfall of displacements starts. It's not like the training center is already over saturated or anything.
