Yes, ORD 175 will be in it. Last I heard it was going to be 80 CAs and FOs. I doubt a ton of FOs will bid it. The only FOs that are able to bid it are current 175 FOs and I'd say the majority of this guys prefer DFW. There will be some that transfer there in order to get the extra pay for 9 months. I'd expect hiring into 175 ORD to be something that will start happening and last for awhile.

Also, it looks like the last class in the 175 will have a fair amount of time on reserve.

You seem pretty knowledgeable. Let’s say you are a new Hire today, what equipment and base would you choose and why? Let’s say you live in DFW.
I’m Curious to see what you guys would choose if you had the knowledge you have now and could start over.

I spent two years on the bottom of reserve. The average new hire class was 3! Sign on bonus was 5k. No retention bonus. 25ish dollar an hour. No commuter hotels. Guys coming on now worrying about spending a month or two longer on reserve and not getting the 175 or A certain base. It doesn't matter which plane you pick just hope you don't get the CRJ if you don't live in ORD.
I’m not worried about reserve I was referring more omg the line of better lines/schedules crews etc..
I’m coming from corporate so for me reserve is a normal day in the neighborhood!

What do you consider a fair amount of time on reserve? I'll probably end up in training in mid-November and I'm trying to get a feel for reserve times for various options non-CRJ options. I will probably shoot for whatever will get me the shortest reserve time then work back to DFW when I can hold a line...
Thanks
