I think 20 domiciles has something to do with it...

Oh I see.
Word is that they do that to get guys to accept the CRJ, then after 2 months of continually turning down the CRJ an earlier ERJ class date magically opens.
Plenty of warm bodies sure but a lot of them are weekend warriors with a wet commercial. Not the people OO is accustomed to sending through the factory.

Well there is absolutely no way xjet will be able to staff these airframes that MIGHT be coming. The 175's will be awarded to another carrier...

Most of which you’ll never hold as a captain. Don’t choke on all that kool aid.

I work on the SkyWest side, and I don't understand it either. When you look at how god awful our reserve is, low pay, and the training has really deteriorated?

And then you have the prize of LGA, I hear 7-8 guys are living in a small 2 bedroom apartment in Queens. What a prize right there!

Don't forget, historical credit or better baby!

The condition mentions 20 ERJs (instead of 25) to give company some flexibility if they run into trouble getting the program running in time for delivery of the first 4-5 airframes. In other words, it won’t trigger Section 6 negotiations if they can’t quite get the program running in time and UAL has to award the first frames to someone else.

So, UAL is only going to award only the first 5 frames to someone else? I guess to SKW.
