700/900 FOs in ATL. What number was the lowest line holder for November without any preassigned credit? Thanks!

Why would you do that? Too many weirdo and crazy CAs on that plane...

But if you really want to know, you can look it up on Xjet under Bid Award Documents for that month.

Interesting, I really enjoy almost all of the nap guys I've flown with.

I've certainly heard a number of stories...but then what I'm also realizing, is usually the folks telling the stories may just be the odd ball. All of the folks I have flown with at this company have been a pleasure to work with. Even those who seem to have a history or story that follows them.

You won the ATL rep position already. No more need to campaign. In a few cases Seniority at this place seems to come with an ego that resembles Ice Man in Top Gun. There is no denying that you are just lucky you haven't picked up a trip with one of them. (I only have 4 guys on my "no fly" list so far on the 200).

LXJT guys. Have any of you heard anything about some announcement coming for you guys around the mid to end of November??? Some rumors are starting to stir around here from the usual people who have hit the last 2 announcements dead on (DFW and 12 900's). Curious how much weight it holds.

Not being vague about info either, all I'm hearing is about an "announcement" on the ERJ side. I have no details.

Put it this way. If I was senior enough to pick and choose nap captains, I probably would enjoy flying with them. Being called out for unwanted naps as a nap reserve guy... well... let's say I got to fly with some interesting people. I enjoyed flying with most of 50 guys. The most of the ones I didn't want to fly with again were nap guys FWIW. To put it in perspective, I still had only one guy on my no fly list when I left ATL 200 after 2 years of it.

Anyway, which section of the contract deals with swapping trips for the next month when reserve coverage is negative for that particular day? I am trying to swap a trip that starts on a day with the reserve coverage at -2 with a trip that starts on a day with the reserve coverage at -1, but obviously the common sense lacking sked plus and crew utilization won't let me do it

Not as far as I have heard. Things have been really quiet and our staffing is just barely adequate right now for the slow time of year. Attrition last month was 18. That's the highest its been in a while. If it keeps up, we're already putting ourselves in a bad position for spring/summer.

They had this sudden urge to get all of us RNAV qualified, so much so that they are pulling guys off trips next month to deadhead to IAH to do it. Really strange if you ask me. The tabled getting us RNAV qual'd last year saying it wasn't a priority and now all of a sudden it seems to be of utmost importance.

Don't listen to the rumors. Our last "big announcement" coming from CAL was more airplanes for Colgan and we were furloughing 300 within a year... Until it is announced I wouldn't even think about it. It is completely out of our control.

Hey look a hurricane...
