The LXJT folks will get on board one way or the other....It's just a matter of how long it will take them to see the light and how much damage will be done while they act like tough guys....

Many L-XJT pilots think their 145s are some sort of a golden goose. I have heard many say they are in no hurry to get a SLI done since L-ASA is losing 50s like crazy. I believe there will be a rude awakening for those with that ideology whenever the United TA is ratified

whats with all this bickering back in forth... who cares who got bought.. both sides "got bought" from what I remember.. as just a lowly line pilot I have seen nothing to "play ball" or "get on board" with. I only want whats best for both groups. Enough of this crap. Were all ExpressJet now right?

So far we have been presented with nothing to 'play ball' with. We're not trying to be the tough guys, but we're not going to take concessions. I want the best for this merger, as does everyone else I fly with. Both sides have some total idiots who post on these forums (not naming any names). But the truth is that 95% of line pilots on both sides want to get this merger done and dusted and end up with the best for both sides.

For those that think they are playing ball on the legacy xjt side, perhaps you haven't been to any union meetings...

Im all for getting things rolling in a good way. But as stated before I think if Inc. wants concessions it isn't going to happen. Were already under a concessionary contract as it is. Too bad we just cant take the best of both contracts. Tack on a 10-15% raise.. Ironclad PBS language (im figuring thats a huge sticking point).. Id vote for that. Im pretty sure most would.

You might want to look around a little at the industry around you....
