Good to hear. Now can you guys please knock off this SmartPref silliness and get the JCBA done. Our PBS system is excellent. Lets move on

Sigh..............

Can't believe how many times it has to be covered. The PBS is "excellent" for the L-ASA side. For ExpressJet "classic" it's a concession. Plain and simple. NOTHING else needs to be said.

xjtguy.. PBS is as good as the work rules. That's it. We both have some things better than the others. If we could get all the good, roll with PBS, it would not be a concession for you guys then.

It does not matter what system you use. It's all in the work rules.

I'm one of the LAST people you need to tell that too.

But saying the current PBS would be good for the L-XJT simply a FALSE statement. Of course it's all about the workrules, that's not, nor has it EVER been in dispute. But for one to think that Jerry wants to improve upon the current system is simply foolish.

Need an example? Vacation low. It's NOT a secret they want it gone yesterday.

And I've read BOTH CBAs side by side, have you? Honest question. Sorry, I wouldn't give up the 2-3 little things that the CRJ side has better to swallow the current PBS system.

People can spout off with "you guys need to get on board" or whatever. We been there, we done that, we got the Tshirts.

You think it's a concession but when you see how many more lines it creates and time you saved from staring at the computer "improving" your line you will be grateful. The only real concession you take from PBS is the ability to drop trips that touch your vacation and still get paid. You'll get the same amount of days off with our system but paid 75 hrs.

Let's be rational here. There is ZERO chance we all move to your line bidding system and there is ZERO chance the ASA pilots go for SmartPref.

The best chance to get this deal done quickly is stick with the ASA PBS system, touch up on the reserve rules, and move on. Having more lines for your junior pilots and less time racing your fellow pilots to the computer is a much better alternative than the hammer

This is only if vacation low remains intact.

That's cool. Like you said, CRJ side is in a good position and growing. The only group that will be hurt by stonewalling our PBS, delaying a JCBA, and delaying an SLI is L-XJT. Oh well, more upgrades for ASA folks.

[QUOTE=Trip7;1284459] The only real concession you take from PBS is the ability to drop trips that touch your vacation and still get paid. You'll get the same amount of days off with our system but paid 75 hrs. [QUOTE]

You realize that concession would cost the average ERJ CA about $20K and FO about $10K a year? Yes that's a REAL concession. How is that unclear? You guys should want better, not the lowest common denominator.
