Quick question, as I'm just wondering but does your company make you carry charts for every aircraft in the fleet and for three different airlines? Do the majority of your trips have you changing aircraft 3-4 times a day? Each time you change aircraft do you have to sling your huge overflowing flight case into a hole that a.) you cannot see and b.) is barely the right size to fit your case and c.) tears your flight case (and your back) to shreds every time you pull it out. And last but not least do you have to walk up and down a dangerous set of air stairs (might as well be a ladder) each time you change aircraft with three airlines worth of charts that cover all aircraft in the fleet?

That's part of a typical day in the life of an RJ crew member. Yes, they do it to themselves (well kind of). But every day when your job gets cushier, someone else's get's a little more challenging.

It's not about video games, entitlement or the shear weight of the bag. But somethings gotta give. The flight case and our back have already done so. Time for a new solution.

Well said. And it will not change because our management doesn't care about us. "You're lucky to even BE here"!

I've heard the 40 upgrades will be for the ERJ guys. Haven't heard of a new position notice for the CRJ.

Anyone else have different info?

I know this is too good to be true for the CRJ guys because it would mean an upgrade for me haha!
