Ya I hope min day credit is addressed in this possible TA. We need a 5 average min maybe not 5 per day but a trip needs to average 5 to be worth while

I SERIOUSLY doubt it will be done today, despite what the email said. Maybe by end of July? Who knows!!!!

If it were to come out, it will have an implementation timeline, prolly a lot will happen Jan 1st, 2014 as far as implementation (my speculation). This gives the company time to program computers, train or whatever they say they're going to do (but don't). Most likely a 2 month voting period which will include road shows in the various bases explaining the new details and why the MeC agreed to what they did, that sort of thing. I'd say late fall by the time it's ratified, all depending on how everyone votes of course.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better....

It was your side that wanted to go with an untested new PBS system, over a currently used popular PBS system that has been tested. Incredibly stupid in good times and fatal in this tough negotiating environment.

The blame lies solely on your inexperienced revolving door MEC...
No, our MEC wanted our line bidding. Your MEC wanted flight line. The XJT MEC compromised. The ASA MEC took over a year to move off of their position. If the ASA MEC would have compromised a year ago, we would've ended up with the same deal we have now except it would have been a year ago.

But keep telling yourself otherwise if it makes your ego feel better.

They would probably still need to put it into contract language before we see it. That might take a while.

All the while other airlines are being forced to take cuts under BK or contract adjustments. I am not there to say who's fault it is but I have a feeling that management is a big part of the reason you boys don't have a contract given the regional airlines struggles. Why didn't ALPA put it up for a vote if this was the biggest issue holding up a contract?

Now this is confirmed that there is just talks, but no confirmation of what bases, if any, will actually come about.
New bases are being discussed, but I doubt it will be MSP/LGA. The MCI thing on the XJT side was a test. If that works out, look for something like PIT and OKC. Yes, I'm serious. And after the JCBA passes, CRJ will be CRJ., no more 700/200 split. If you're junior, you will be displaced out of ATL.

If we aren't dual qual. by the first of the year, I'm going to the 700/900, because the 200 schedule will be the new definition of suck...
You answered your own question. It will be "dual qual" and they way the union will sell it is that the new FTDT regs will preclude keeping the 200 split off.

I don't understand why they even give us the option to trade for something in open time. It is always denied. Damn thing says it needs 10 reserves, it has 10 reserves and it still denies it. Call scheduling and they say sorry, we can't help you.

Dual qual = no vote for me. That was easy.

I would assume that the dual qual would still generate 200 trips and 700/900 trips correct? Flights attendants throw a wrench in the works. If this is the case, junior people would only be able to hold 200 as senior will scoop up 700/900 out of the pot. Add the new rest rules and it looks like junior means crappy pay and QOL.

Actually no. Lots of airlines don't match the FA's with pilots for an entire pairing. Sure a few may. But, to really get the benefits of dual qual in FTDT (besides the company saving on training costs and operating costs from having a CRJ pilot that can fly all 3 during these IROPS) you have to make pairings that have a mixture to keep the number of legs per day down. More legs = less available duty = need more pilots to fly the allotted flying. They will attempt to mix them in the most efficient way to reduce the number of pilots they have to have on the roster.

FTDT really changes the game here. Before FTDT I would agree 100%.
