Ya I hope min day credit is addressed in this possible TA. We need a 5 average min maybe not 5 per day but a trip needs to average 5 to be worth while

Say this TA comes out tomorrow, how long to vote and if somehow passed first time how long until it goes into effect!

If it were to come out, it will have an implementation timeline, prolly a lot will happen Jan 1st, 2014 as far as implementation (my speculation). This gives the company time to program computers, train or whatever they say they're going to do (but don't). Most likely a 2 month voting period which will include road shows in the various bases explaining the new details and why the MeC agreed to what they did, that sort of thing. I'd say late fall by the time it's ratified, all depending on how everyone votes of course.

It was your side that wanted to go with an untested new PBS system, over a currently used popular PBS system that has been tested. Incredibly stupid in good times and fatal in this tough negotiating environment.
The blame lies solely on your inexperienced revolving door MEC...
But keep telling yourself otherwise if it makes your ego feel better.
They would probably still need to put it into contract language before we see it. That might take a while.

No, our MEC wanted our line bidding. Your MEC wanted flight line. The XJT MEC compromised. The ASA MEC took over a year to move off of their position. If the ASA MEC would have compromised a year ago, we would've ended up with the same deal we have now except it would have been a year ago.
But keep telling yourself otherwise if it makes your ego feel better.

On a side note, I'll start spinning the rumor mill: I personally asked someone, but I won't name names, about the possibility of a LGA and MSP base. I was told that there is talks right now, and that is a possibility along with a few more bases due to the FT/DT regulations. This will help build better schedules for the company. Now this is confirmed that there is just talks, but no confirmation of what bases, if any, will actually come about.

The main difference is longer legs. 700/900 won't be affected much, but the Delta 200 is going to suck...We shot ourselves in the foot again with FTDT with the law of unintended consequences.
We keep shooting ourselves in the foot and then we complain because our feet hurt....I wonder if we will ever learn.
If we aren't dual qual. by the first of the year, I'm going to the 700/900, because the 200 schedule will be the new definition of suck...

I don't understand why they even give us the option to trade for something in open time. It is always denied. Damn thing says it needs 10 reserves, it has 10 reserves and it still denies it. Call scheduling and they say sorry, we can't help you.
Dual qual = no vote for me. That was easy.

I would assume that the dual qual would still generate 200 trips and 700/900 trips correct? Flights attendants throw a wrench in the works. If this is the case, junior people would only be able to hold 200 as senior will scoop up 700/900 out of the pot. Add the new rest rules and it looks like junior means crappy pay and QOL.

FTDT really changes the game here. Before FTDT I would agree 100%.

You might want to talk to your union reps once the nondisclosure agreements aren't as important. You have one side of the story and to think that one side was responsible for negotiations breaking down is pretty laughable. There is plenty of blame to go around.
