Not to change the subject but my last day at Xjet is a month from today. I wanted to sincerely thank all of you for making my aviation career an amazing one over the years! For those of you coming on board/ trying to come on board.. You are going to have an amazing training experience and a chance to work with some of the best professionals in the industry and have a blast! I would never have been prepared for this opportunity if it was not for the training and mentorship of our captains. I am truly honored and humbled to have worked with you all!!! Thanks again everyone!

I'm military, so I brought a printout of only my mil time and that was sufficient for XJT. I applied on a Friday and was called the fllowing Monday to schedule an interview. I was offered the job two days after the interview.

Hey, I am in the process of completing an application with them. Any advice on interview would be great and do you have an electronic log book if so how did you give it to them meaning did you have it professionally printed? How long did you get the call for interview after application submitted and how long for the job offer after interview? Thanks..
Applied Wednesday Received Call next day to schedule Interview.... I choosed some days later ,, They are very open mind to let you choose a date, ; same day I received travel arrangement's, you pay for your hotel ( drury inn with xjet discount ( recommended by everybody ) .. Interviewed a monday, welcome call one week later , was a holiday weekend... ) very nice guys, and professionals but very friendly! ... nice recruiting team ( better than others and ORGANIZED )...
nice hiring movement in xjet (faster line and seniority #)..
if electronic logbook go to officedepot or kinkos printed in color and the binding service ( aprox 50$$ all ) ...... with that is perfect.. remember to tab your checkrides .
have your paperwork in order like the email that they send you .. and study from the study guide that they send you too . and look for gouges on internet!... and be positive!

What would be a better move XJT or Spirit (assuming offered both)? Better opportunity for advancement at XJT i am guessing.

Go to Spirit. That should be a no brainer. You will get better QOL, pay and equipment. There should be significant movement over there as well and you avoid the whole regional rat race.

Why, in the name of all that is holy, would you even consider for a SECOND going to ExpressJet if offered a position at Spirit? Not sure if troll, or just plain dumb..

I just had paper logbooks.. It really was just an amazing experience! The interview process was very welcoming and encouraging! When you get the email/call/interview just be yourself! Everything else will fall in place
