I'm not going to jump into online banter about what pay increase we deserve for the next 10 pages. Besides PBS bidding systems and rest of the JCBA has been negotiated pretty quickly. I think the TA will be done soon and it will allow for growth while protecting what we have.
I may be new to APC, but I already see why it's the same four people posting on here time and time again. Everybody else gets so frustrated and stops posting. I SAID WE SHOULDN'T EXPECT A PAY RAISE! Between you and Capt I would say "Do you want me to write that down for you?" But I already have and neither of you can still figure it out. Holy smokes......account deleted.
Easy man, my post was aimed at Capt Tony not you. APC's quoting software on the android app is terrible

Yes. Factoring in AMR RFPs there is room for growth

A modest raise to the LXJT contract would the the equivalent to demanding huge pay raises for the ASA contract.
I completely disagree that a modest raise to L-XJT contract is a "huge" raise to ASA guys. Your contract might be a little bit better than ASA's, but both contracts overall are in the same ballpark. ALPA's Economics and Finance Committee or however it's called has the data to prove it.

Anyways it's an irrelevant debate, because the union has released a statement saying they are committed to expediting a JCBA in order to give the company the flexibility and economics to add new growth aircraft like the EMB-175 while maintaining the QOL for all pilots. I stand by the union and that statement.

If you guys want to banter for the next 5 pages about how much better L-XJT's contract is carry on, I'll wait for a TA

Really? Higher 50 seat pay rates, higher 401k matching, higher vacation accrual, higher sick accrual, better health benefits and premium caps, better scheduling rules especially reserve, and a B fund which is non existent. Pretty much every section tied to financials are significantly (that's the word I used, not huge) better. Yes, the E&FA has confirmed that. Don't confuse the price tag on the total contract with the effective trap compensation rate.

So of course you are willing to take a modest raise and keep your current QOL from your contract but that would be a "significant" concession on both for us on the XJT contract.

My fear is that my union will agree to a TA that has only a modest pay raise and maintains your QOL in order to chase the 175 carrot. Personally, this is just me talking, I rather whither in the vine.

Keep your plan B and C ready!

Your words not mine. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Agree to disagree on huge versus significant? Fine. I was talking about significant pay cuts to LXJT versus huge pay raises for ASA. One in the same and just semantics anyway. But is that all you took from my post?

How about agree that your modest raise and maintains your QOL would be a concession to LXJT. Or putting it another way, a modest pay raise to the LXJT contract would be a significant raise to ASA?

Keep in mind the facts:
Pay rates
401k matching
B fund
Vacation accrual
Sick accrual
Per diem
Health benefits
Premium caps
Scheduling rules
Reserve rules

Pretty much all the financial drivers.

NEVETS , you are out of your mind if you think you will see a TA with higher rates. "Trust" me on this one.
