What's the Latest at ASA/Expressjet?

Yes, availability (vacancies) determine the type and number of slots available to your class. Seniority within your class is based on birth date. It seems a few from every class get the 7/9, but it all depends. The last class had several get the 7/9 in ATL, which is our most senior pilot group.

Not to change the subject but my last day at Xjet is a month from today. I wanted to sincerely thank all of you for making my aviation career an amazing one over the years! For those of you coming on board/ trying to come on board.. You are going to have an amazing training experience and a chance to work with some of the best professionals in the industry and have a blast! I would never have been prepared for this opportunity if it was not for the training and mentorship of our captains. I am truly honored and humbled to have worked with you all!!! Thanks again everyone!

It's a small ceremony, nothing on the nose, and somewhat gaudy. Just a band, fireworks, F18 fly by, then BH Places the CRJ Ceremonial Sash over your shoulder and awards you the ASA Saber, which will distinguish you above all other pilots (Even SKYW) and to be used only to spread the word about how wonderful PBS is.
