I agree that this place has been absolutely criminal in how they have worked us during the last few summers.

However, what did you guys want them to do this time? Hire a bunch this spring so they were online for this summer just so that we can be overstaffed in the fall with the 14 200's leaving (or 19 as CT and SH have been saying Delta now wants by December and we are "hoping" to keep it at 14)? It's a hard thing to decide how to staff when Delta gives us the 700's and 900's BEFORE they take the 200's.

And despite what anyone wants to say, people aren't exactly getting hired out of here in the volume some want to believe they are. 10 a month is only 70 pilots by December and 14 to 19 planes is 140 - 190 less pilots required.

(CRJ side only of course).

But does anyone have a link to the original reveal of "SureJet" in A-Tech?

I was thinking the same. I personally have not met a single person that has left for a major. Actually I haven't met anyone that knows someone that has left for a major. I've talked to people that know OF people that have left. I know they are leaving but it's in much smaller numbers than people think.

With that said I do know 3 people that have quit and moved on to different careers.

Just another perspective that's all.

Or possibly not waiting at all. Seems there are a lot of lifers on the CA side.

I know of 4 Captains that have been turned down by UAL - 3 of them Check Airmen.

Saving grace may be Flight Time / Duty Time changes in January. If staffing increase of 5% is required that is another 80ish pilots needed. With attrition it might balance out okay.
