Are both sides still actively interviewing and having classes? I think I read the CRJ has stopped and the ERJ side continues.

Yes, they are. We have had 30 newhires quit (both EMB and CRJ combined) since January. These guys are literally completing training, getting their type, then quitting. And the class no show rate remains high.

That's a high number, considering that the hiring during that time was minimal. Why do you think this was happening?

Can't speak for CRJ side. On the ERJ side according to May seniority list no 2013 new hires have quit

I know of several that were 2012 hires, that have quit. Most newhires only need currency now, as they are "recycled" airline pilots that don't need any sort of time building. What is the incentive to stay, while pay remains rediculous on probation, as do the working conditions on reserve??? I do not blame them a bit for leaving.
