I know of several that were 2012 hires, that have quit. Most newhires only need currency now, as they are "recycled" airline pilots that don't need any sort of time building. What is the incentive to stay, while pay remains rediculous on probation, as do the working conditions on reserve??? I do not blame them a bit for leaving.

Any news on the contract? I have been hearing that the union is going to cave on dual qual. This after " it was not safe" stance. Also with the new rest rules we are going to have to work an extra 2 days per month to maintain productivity with 5 day trips. Top that off with people quitting or not showing up for class after being hired. There is only a few people in the applicant pool. The reserve list is always depleted. A lot of people are now looking elsewhere to get out of here. But yet CT thinks its all good. G.O won't be saying that anymore in the next few years....

Don't mix up Skywest with XJT. Period. Skywest is NON-UNION. They are the winners in the latest race to the bottom.
