Interesting post from FI.com:

http://insiders.morningstar.com/trad...&culture=en-US

Brad Holts salary has increased 83% since 2008
The executive salaries combined have increased 63% since 2008

What management will argue is that their compensation was being brought in line with the industry standard. That is precisely what they intend to do to us - bring us in line with the industry (Gojets) standard.

Wow, Brad's salary went from $640,000 in 2011 to $1,100,000 in 2012.

BTW, that link didn't work, but googling "Morningstar Expressjet Holt" brought up the info.

SKYW SkyWest, Inc. Executive Compensation

Industry standard doesn't work. We can't fill classes as it is, what happens when the contract gets worse? What good is growth when we can't staff the planes? Is there an MBA shortage? Why raise executive compensation at the expense of labor, when you already have difficulty attracting labor?

Because it's easier to bankrupt a top heavy subsidiary?

Let us never forget BH still has a SkyWest seniority number and a desk in SGU waiting for him. The only people truly invested in this place is us.

I've heard this rumor. Its impossible to bankrupt a subsidiary. Only Skywest Inc can declare bankruptcy.

That really depends on how debt, leases, and contracts are structured, but I hope you're right.
