Training center are telling people that the company is going to announce that 60 E175s are to join the fleet to replace the 145LR/EPs. Supposedly announcement due at some point in August...I'll believe it when I see it. Then again, they were also saying that the company were looking for concessions before they even proposed them, so you never know!

I wouldn't be surprised. Offer low wage and dangle the carrot. Well played management.

Guess 3: TA has been reached, road shows in November, voting in December and Oh, we're keeping 17 of the 19 CR2s along with 30 E170 starting in 2017.

I like this game
4: ExpressJet is going to buy AA/JetBlue, Insert whatever airline, and go independent due to the loss of the departure fees starting in 2015 with Delta..

By the way the information that was sent out was talking about another meeting in Sept. Right now no contract deal.

You have no idea how right you are on this. there are alot of pilots that would take a paycut, work more hours and stay away from home longer to fly those big shining airplanes.Management knows how to work this group.

Whenever the emails go out looking for people wanting to be Ground Instructors, CRM instructors and Flight Instructors then something gets announced within a couple of weeks.

The thing is that even a 1:1 swap of Ejets for 145's will have no effect whatsoever on any of us (you think a $2/hour pay bump really makes a difference?, wouldn't make me want to go through the hassle of training on a new type). So who cares really if we're getting new planes.

I want absolutely nothing to do with E-175's at the current pay-rates that were forced upon us through arbitration...
