I think that the above is flawed only because the other carriers who have accepted those rates were under bankruptcy. So far that is not the case and I do hope that it continues down that road. To ask for concessions at this point has had only one outcome. For no reason, you have now upset the labor group to a point where they will refuse to sign onto anything that you produce.

Yes, they can do a fine job by not asking for concessions (ever) but especially since they gave themselves pay raises and also especially since they knew they were. No, I don't agree it's their job to ask us for concessions regardless of anything. That's why I say it's a lack if leadership. That's their job as management, to lead.
Why do you continue to make excuses and rationalize their request for concessions? State of the industry? We were operationally profitable and the whole corporation has been profitable all along!

As for our pay raises, yes of course we deserve them. We deserve them for many reasons. One reason is that they for pay raises and we didn't.

You do understand that we made a profit right? And that not only have they been giving themselves raises, they are paying for two management teams and two if everything to run the airlines. And it's their job to ask us for pay cuts when they can get coat cuts from other places? How is that them doing their job? Ridiculous! There you go with rationalizations.

iPads will come when Jepp no longer prints paper charts and/or the cost of the hardware and subscriptions is less than the paper charts plus delivery.
