We did, but it will not continue. To keep their much "deserved" salary raises they have to cut programs. I would like to see a lot of management jobs at A-tech be justified. The question is, can this be done from sgu?

Corporate greed is really changing we do, everything!

Is there anything stopping them from shutting us down? Is there any historical precedent where a holding company has 2 subsidiaries - one profitable and one not making money - and they shut down the unprofitable subsidiary?
MAIR bankrupted Mesaba Airlines while preserving the holding company, and its other subsidiary. Research it.

And the fragmentation clause in our contract only kicks in if the airplanes are transferred directly to SkyWest Airlines. If they're returned to the lessor, then leased back to SkyWest, we have no claim. In fact, they already did this with the -200s they're flying in PHX.

Also, wouldn't Brads recent raise more than cover all of the programs? Gotta wonder how much of this is a pony show for the negotiations.
It is something to throw on the resume which is better than nothing. Do we really need an awards ceremony? I have known a few of the winners from the past and two in this round and every one of them has been excellent to work with. I think just the recognition of a job well done is enough.

There's plenty to be mad about, but we did in fact lose money. Read the 10-Q reports.

SkyWest Inc can make ExpressJet show a loss or not at its whim by overcharging us for services like IT, accounting, payroll, etc. Thats what sucks about being a wholly owned subsidiary. In other news, don't expect to see XJT profitable until all of the concessionaire contracts are signed.

See Colgan's q400s and Republic for this scenario too.
