United can say anything they want to save face but it's no secret INC is under a lot of pressure to cut Expressjet's money loosing cpa's they negotiated. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe INC has made it known (threatened) that they plan to park 145's early (100 of them)?
Inc cannot unilaterally park ERJs early. Each aircraft has a specific time line of when they are no longer under the CPA between Skywest and United. Of course they could mutually agree to something. But it's not going to be at the cost of Skywest continuing to operate them at a loss. Eventually ALL ERJs WILL be parked, regardless.

Anyone else here the latest on Big D wanting all DCI flying wholly owned by the end of 2015? Pressing INC hard to cut LXJT and sell back ASA...

If they want to buy ASA to keep all DCI flying wholly owned, then why would they care what Skywest does with LXJT? That doesn't make sense whatsoever.

Eventually ALL 787s WILL be parked too. What's your point?

That would be a pretty large undertaking.. they would have to shift all the flying currently done by CP, S5, G7, RP, and OO to just EV and 9E... that's just not gonna happen.

That was precisely my point. Each aircraft has a specific time line as to when they come off the CPA. But regardless, they will all be parked eventually.

I seldom comment with absolutes, but this is pure rumor and absolutely not happening.
