"Why buy a cow when milk is free ?" Endeavor does not need more pilots. They need more airplanes (CRJ9). When they are down to 1300 pilots, have four CRJ9 sims at MSP, and most of the 200s are parked, it may be time for Delta to "shuffle" airplanes around similar to what happened with Envoy /PSA.

I would be surprised to see either side get any more airframes prior to a joint contract. I think the best shot we have at good news is a short term extension for some of our retiring airframes due to an inability for mainline, or other connection/express carrier, to cover the flying in the short term.

If ASA gets aircraft from endeavor, at least they would be going to a better pilot contract, so I assume. It's too bad that with these types of deals, pilots can't come over with those aircraft.

Oh, you mean just how your MEC did when the ASA was close to possible furloughs. At least our MEC went to bat to get your guys back to work. No such favor was returned. The Pinnacle guys are still pilots, just like you (maybe) and I. Likely junior guys that may not even had the opportunity to vote. And we should shun them? Classless comment.

I think they need to work out a deal where Alpa furloughs jump to year 3 or 4 pay as newhires at another alpa regional.

You sir, do you smoke crack!?
The XJT MEC has no power to save jobs that ASA MEC itself cannot save!
The XJT side can't even save their own skins. You can't lame the ASA MEC for the economic conditions that threaten LXJT pilot jobs.
Get some business acumen, and stop flaming!

I'm glad you guys get to bargain against the Endeavor contract which has some dollar value rather than an environment where management would tell you that "if you get 2011 Endeavor JCBA wages we will be in Ch 7 like them".
You're welcome.

First comment isn't true and is just another nasty rumor from one person on the flamebaiting MEC. Go back like ten pages in this thread. It was an mou on the lxjt side. It ended up not being needed but it was there. Maybe if your mec would promote factual information instead of gossip mongering online with half truths and misinformation two sides could come together.
