On 3/2, we pick up tons of new flights we didn't previously do, and they all start the same day. This also accounts for the huge number of weekend 4 days. 3/2 is a Saturday, and many many trips start that day. This is a scheduling quirk that happens 4 times a year when DAL tosses their schedule and reshuffles all the DCI flying.
Spot on. Is it a YUL flight that you got changed to DH? I noticed that ATL-YUL goes exclusively PNCL in March

Isn't deadhead supposed to be block or better on company airplanes on the CRJ side? Section 8 says scheduled, but I swear I heard it's block or better as long as you're on company airplane. I'm can't find it in 100s of MOUs. Does anyone know where it is in the contract?

It used to be they just weren't correcting the rides on company airplanes but they seemed to have fixed it. Unfortunately, deadheading is supposed to be scheduled, period.

They used to correct the DH time if it went over scheduled. That was back when the average longevity of a scheduler was better than 18 minutes. Now they are like a bunch of computers and have no clue how to think outside the box. Nor do they care.

Actually, the software used to read you as an assigned crew member and credit you the block or better on our flights. The contract always said scheduled and that is why you would be denied the credit of a ground stop while Dh on a mainline flight. The software was enhanced to reflect the contract language shortly after the signing of contract '07.
