ASA side to get E175 flying for delta. Reduction in 200s, LXJT gets nada and continued reduction in aircraft fleet as planned.

That's what I heard.

That is the buzz around the L-ASA side as well, some "big announcement in November." My guess is that it is the announcement of EFB's as November coincides with the time period that EFB testing of the Surface will conclude. Remember, they were testing the iPad, then midway through that they decided to go with the Surface which resulted in a complete reset of the FAA EFB testing procedure (typical A-Tech bumbling) of 6 months, all of this was back in the Feb-April timeframe. If they began testing the Surface in April, that process would finish in October, for a November announcement. My money is on EFBs....woo....hoo....Don't worry, we'll have to carry our charts for another 6-8 months as you know the distribution process of these devices is going to be a train wreck, not to mention the "training" process etc etc etc. It will be mid 2015 to late 2015 before it is all settled.

When are the two MEC's meeting again? October? It has been really quiet as of late.

Except for the fact that everyone I've talked to says that the 6 months of Surface testing is just beginning.
