4yr F/O CRJ900 EV -$42 76 seats (all sourced on airline pilot central and seatguru.com)

This is almost 3x the pay for less than 2x the seats....

Parity for the exact same skillset.

And that's just the pay rates. don't forget the rest of the DL compensation package.

But the part I meant to elaborate on is how you can justify asking for that kind of compensation in the current regional airline bargaining environment.

Oh, and run those numbers again, divided by seats for a 50 seat RJ vs a 149 seat MD88, and see how much disparity it isn't per seat.

Offer any 4 year RJ F/O no pay raise but the balance of the A/A contract and see how the vote turns out.

And no... you're not going to get that kind of compensation with the system as it is.... There will have to be some consolidation...Internally within single companies, between "regionals" or between regionals and majors.

You didn't answer the question. Run the numbers for us.

Here, I'll do it.

ASA 4th year CRJ-200; $39.79/50 seats = .7958 per seat
AA 4th year MD88; $108/149 seats = .7248 per seat

Other than that the compensation packages are identical right?

(Don't bother responding to that...I'll answer the question for you)
