I have no clue what you are talking about. It's funny though that you think my criticism of you has something to do with our MEC or NC.. Paranoid much??

Listen ASA guys, if this is the kind of people you are taking advice from about our PBS and culture and that we somehow want to bring down your QOL, you're crazy. If anything the top at ASA want to protect their QOL at your expense. We spread the love more evenly, not just by DOH. For instance, our pilots get to bid in seniority order for each Vacation week.. One by one.. Not all at one time. When I saw that in our TA I was sick. It's just not fair. Give every one a chance to get a week off that they want. The senior shouldn't get to Xmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and their B-day when they could hold them off anyways with a bid.

We will protect QOL with smartperf.. If we don't then I would happily switch to FlightLine. Lets give each other a chance and we can work it out next contract. We do not want to undercut your QOL!!

My feeling is that this would have happened of XJT voted yes, I am glad I voted NO!

This was part of the gamble of voting no and I believe the 83% understood this.. We were not guaranteed flying if we did vote yes. Even with the pay cuts from the last contract we still would have been more expensive than Republic.

One thing I've learned from this industry is that you cannot predict the future. We still are the largest regional in the world. XJT will not be easy to replace and things could rapidly change going forward. Time will tell but I am proud regardless of what happens, that we stood for something, instead of fueling the flames of the whipsaw.

Tony, the outlier argument is flat out false. They have already stated LTD is not going to exist in it's current form.

Also, our line bidding allows us a great QOL and excellent work rules. We are going to protect that QOL fiercely with rules in SmartPerf. Why not at least see what we can come up with? You never know it might be better than your current system
Parallel bidding doesn't really work because not everyone participates in the parallel bid. In addition, it is going to cost money to run two separate systems. Who is going to pay for it?

One of the reasons I voted NO was because of the two different contracts within the TA. I want one system and one contract. Not these two separate systems.

I bet you don't even know how our system works. You never know, maybe our system is great. How do you know what our system is like?

This is one of the big problems I have with your system and your mentality on that side. Seniority is the way things work. I'm fairly senior. I'm sorry, but that's the way things work.

What's wrong with just keeping things separate? We like what we have, and obviously you like what you have. Let's just stay separate then everyone wins. You keep your line bidding and we keep flightline. You keep your vacation bidding, and we keep ours. You get to keep your Bfund and your LTD. What am I missing?

Can't keep the sides separate. Mergers do not work that way. Financially it makes no sense for the company or it's shareholders.

And how would I know? Do you know what our line bidding is like? Probably not.

The PBS transition is the best compromise. We can take the best of the two systems in the next contract.
