Eligible to bid. It is a virtual credit and there is a chart to tell you what the credit is in LOA 11 I'm pretty sure. Helps make it in the window when you've got part of your month blocked off for training.

Hope that helps. If not, contact the scheduling hotline and they can explain it for you.

I've got the same thing (ETB). In the contract is says ETB virtual credit is 2.75. That's not a lot for a day... I don't get it?? For training we get 3.95 a day, so why would they block half my month off at 2.75 a day? Seems impossible for me to get up to the threshold.

On a different note, can someone please tell me what happens to the GDOs if I'm awarded a reserve line with GDOs that fall on my vacation?

I pretty sure they just take them from you. A day off is a day off in their eyes. You need a minimum of 10 or 11 days off. So as long as you get your right amount of days off, they are satisfied. Doesn't matter where they are. Vacation days are GDO's anyways. They can't really move them like they will with your other off days.

Thanks. I'm waiting on the scheduling hotline people to call me back, but in the mean time I suppose I should bid around that then.

You must have 15 days off on a vacation month. The GDO days will not matter anyway. Just make sure you have the 15 days off.

[QUOTE=todd1200;1243321]Yep, the one trip I did with him, we had a Fed on the J/S the first leg and I had just transitioned to the airplane -- we both ended up with letters.

You must be the one that left the flight deck to use the lav and the capt did not put on his oxy mask. Am I right?
