Forget the exact number but staffing was heavy for a period of time there.

This is just my take on it and I could be wrong. If that rumor about United kickin 145's to the curb and bringin in bigger CRJ's is true that will be pretty sick! Hopefully it is true. Get some movement and get the L-Xjet of their high horse. I know that's immature but they are annoying.
We are in the slowest month of the year and have no reserve captains. They are going to have to upgrade. I have no idea how we are going to staff this winter with no one in upgrade right now.

So even if they call today that's only one week notice? Kinda weird

I would appreciate more notice, but if they called I wouldn't be upset!

Yah wouldn't be upset at all, would just feel bad giving my current employer zero notice

Actually, the 145 side has first right of refusal for any replacement aircraft per the CPA signed with continental.

And which version do you have of the CPA? You do know that they can modify them right?

And you know that they can put out a new RFP also for more a/c?

Read the fine print and between the lines. There are loopholes.

How soon after denial at XJet can you "reapply" i.e. call HR? Thanks in advance.

No call, no email today....like I said don't get any hopes up but they've been known to give very short notice before class date.
