This was after the announcement of the loss of the 200s, but before this DTW/LGA news. I can't imagine anyone would argue now.

My point is 2 fold. Everyone's situation is their own. Today there are so many variables for pilots. Every situation is as different as each pilot is different.
Point 2 - a pilot that has very little time in this industry to be giving advice is childish. Worry about yourself not someone else. You wouldn't want someone telling you how to be a CPT would you.

P.S. my financial situation will blow yours away. I've been very very fortunate in my career/life and the reason I stay where I am is for the quality of life.

Just calling it the way I see it. I've been wrong before, and I'd love to be wrong about this.....
I wasn't trying to throw stones or pass judgement, I was just sharing my view that the situation looks real bad. I can't imagine how parking half the fleet could possibly be a good thing-but hey, I'm no MBA-by any means.
I sincerely wish you all the very best of luck. I spent a long time at the place, and I'll always think highly of the people I worked with. The jobs market is very good right now. I'd take advantage of it.

If someone goes to xyz airline, even though it wouldn't be your choice, then that's great. It fits his mold/game plan.
Wish them the best of luck! We have enough problems battling Crew Sch...Management etc.

It's not so much the judgement as it is telling someone what direction.
