Well said.

No large company really gives a crap about its employees.

SKYW should have treated ASA better. At least give guys their sick time.

Get out. It’s the only solution.

You know things are bad when even management pilots leave to fly 135.

I don't think I've ever seen my seniority move so fast because of all the attrition. Sometimes it jumps multiple numbers in one day. A sign of the impending implosion.

I remember being in training across the street at Flightsafety about 7 years ago or so. I was standing by the windows talking with an instructor and I asked him with serious concern what he thought the future of the company was. Things were already bleak then, and in my mind it didn’t look good. He pointed to the new Expressjet sign recently assembled atop the cheap blue building known as “a-tech” and he said, “Look at that. You see that new sign? This place won’t be going anywhere for a long, long time.”

Ironic that if you look hard enough you can still see “Eastern” bleed through that bankruptcy-blue paint job.

Was that before or after the SureJet episode. IMO that was a watershed moment

I'm still trying to figure out what the did with all the SureJet stuff- hats, t-shirts, pens and such. Obviously not donated to anyone in the US as no one has seen any on the homeless.

The homeless have a little more dignity than to wear that stuff.

Well, for those on the ERJ concerned about being bumped out of a seat, the layman terms of the agreement is out. Probably the first good news CRJ pilots have had for a while.
Any pay protected CRJ pilot who flows over to the ERJ side will be pay protected on the ERJ side while flying in the right seat as long as they have bid in for left seat. In addition, any FO flowing over to the ERJ side who is senior to the most junior ERJ captain will be pay protected as long as they have a bid in for left seat. Protects those ERJ pilots already in the left seat, pay protects CRJ pilots moving over.
This should make most (but certainly not all), of both sides happy. Going to the right seat of the ERJ for a 60% pay cut was a no-go and would mean pretty much 100% attrition. I think most of us don't mind flying right seat as long as there is some pay protection.

Also, any LASA pilots transitioning to the ERJ side will get retirement pass benefits after one year as long as they meet certain longevity requirements at LASA/XJT.

Finally news that is not negative.
