The 3 pilots in the 11/13/17 class that received ATL 200 CA got it because they had pervious 9E time. Otherwise the most junior ATL 200 CA awarded is 9/18/17 hire date.
NYC Captain went to a mid NOV New-hire with no 9E time. Holding out for Atlanta cost a few people an extra stripe.

The email I received clearly says all pilots.

- Delta CRJ CA get paid early if displaced or reaching the end of CPA.

- Delta CRJ FO get an extra payment (20k total) if displaced or reaching the end of CPA.

Still not enough money to stay. I think it’s safe to do there is no “big news” coming the end of the year. Well, at least no good news. Or something along the lines of the “Good news” when it was announced our -200s were going away. The only place the remaining -700s will go is to our parent company.
DAL contract will wind down as best they can staff it, but we won’t make it to the end. 1 January the second mass exodus starts. About the only ones staying are those with interviews or those in their 60’s. Stay for $10k? Pulease!!
Next, DFW. News will probably come out this summer that it makes economic sense for our parent company to take over that flying. And that will be the end of LASA.

This retention bonus announcement to be paid in 2019 sounds more like an insult than a real deal. Why would FO's stay almost 13 months from now, just to get only 10k. It's time for a new contract or be gone. Expressjet estrategy to retain pilots is: 1) No pay increase, but bonus until 1.1 years. 2) spread rumor that United buy us so people would think twice before leaving

No one is thinking twice. Hell, I know folks waiting for Spirit and Frontier to go on strike so they can scab those mofos.

It's like watching Lorenzo hosing Eastern before CAL went on strike. Good thing most strikes are over in less than 48hrs so nobody loses pay, and you can't train any replacements.

It's effectively $20,000 for current Delta CRJ FOs to stay through 2018. I'm not going to say that alone is a good enough reason to stay, but it's a step in the right direction.

I can't see any reason why an FO would stay. There will be no upgrade. If anything attrition will accelerate now. Another year of seniority wasted at a dying airline. At least you could get that same bonus when hired as a new hire somewhere else...and not have to wait 13 months.
