Hi Everyone, I recieved an email from Flexjet about a week ago asking if I'd like to interview, I responded yes but haven't heard anything since. Is there anything else I should do? Thanks!

If you work 228 days at Netjets, you can probably add another $30k-40k as a minimum for flight duty pay being conservative. I’m on the 7/7 and already at $39k in FDP.

You can also add another 10% for holidays, overtime, etc. If they contribute to the 401k, then you can plan on 58% match to their 401k contribution as well as 1/3 of your FDP.

How much is the medical for a family at Flex? Netjets is $0, so that is also money back in your pocket.

There is a lot of “soft money” to be made in addition the salary at Netjets. The APC numbers don’t really show the big picture.

I pay $198 bucks for a family of 4 on the best health care I’ve had in 3 flying jobs. No premium raises for 11 years.

AsA captain give us a break, by years end will have a new pay package and you can harp on us again. I can say 95% of your pilot group is mad or grumpy pilots. Every time I walk through an fbo you guys look ****ed off. Reminds me of being a Express Jet CA and looking down at every operator besides for Air Wisconsin.

Netjets has superior size of scale over Flex. Instead of bashing our pilot group constantly, You should focus your energy on starting a fractional union (like ALPA). It’s sad that you spend so much time on this forum being negative. Divorced, single or lonely?

I thought I was holding out for NJ (I have a good gig for now) but tell me about these new contract negotiations? Insurance for 4 is a big deal too. Also, any chance that a 7/7 will come to FJ? What is the union/group fighting for pay wise? Work rules?

Hey all!

I applied to FlexJet a year or so back and never heard anything. So I moved on to a Regional Airline. But as suspected, I'm not enjoying commuting on my days off on already a min day off operation. I have updated my resume and profile with FlexJet in hopes of updated turbine hours will help get noticed. I cannot see my application, the website only gives the opportunity to withdraw from the position. Should I withdraw my application and then send a new application in? Or would updating my resume and online profile make its way to the Recruiters? I'm super interested in FlexJet and have talked to a few of their pilots in the airports and FBO's when I was instructing. Thanks!

FJ has a set 7/7 option at the moment but I am told (could be wrong) that a very small handful of pilots actually go for it, but most don't because it pays significantly less than PBS. As far as the pay negotiations go, I believe the pilot group is using NJ's most recent contract as a bargaining tool for pay and QOL improvements. My understanding is that the #1 issue pay wise (aside from actual pay increases) is us getting some sort of FDP structure that would incentivize guys to fly longer rotations. 401K increase being a close #2. Whatever happens, something needs to be done. The attrition is pretty high and the company has very ambitious growth and expansion plans. If they want to attract more quality pilots, and more importantly KEEP them, they know they are going to have to pay better somehow.

I believe you can update resume and profile, but I fully deleted mine and resubmitted and it worked. That being said, I had a referral from a FJ pilot.
