I still have 6 months on my contract at a 135, expecting about 1800TT with 800 multi turbine (all CE525 SIC) once May rolls around. Just curious if they’re eyeing those with more TT or in larger cabin aircraft. Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences, it’s great to see everyone’s encouragement here.
Once you hit ALL mins apply. A 135 background will be helpful but expect to be asked 135 reg questions in the interview. That being said most new hires I flew with before leaving recently had double, triple, ten times min hours.

It’s possible only to speculate.
It’s best to apply now and see what happens my friend. All they can say at this point in your career is “NO Thank You. Please reapply in ......”

On the other hand, they might surprise you.

Bottom Line? APPLY !!!!!

Just a line pilot here. Ideally I think they want people that are close to Captain upgrade mins or higher. This way you can upgrade when your number is up. We do have people that have less time. We like experienced pilots, but also people that are fun to be around. I agree with the others and say apply. If they want more time, you can always apply again later.

Totally agree with others above. While most have time well above mins, one of the guys I’m starting Indoc with next week was hired as a CFI with about 2000 TT. My first impressions were that he would be a great guy to fly with, and make a great member of the XO team.

When you meet the mins...APPLY!

Anybody that's currently there have any updates on how they're enjoying it (or not)?
Good luck man! If you get the nod let me know and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks for the great replies everyone! Glad to have your advice and to see that I’m not terribly far out of reach from them once I’m ready to apply. I know they want the ATP written done, but does it have to be for the unrestricted once you get the PIC type? I only ask since I just turned 22 and won’t be eligible for the unrestricted ATP until next December. Thanks in advance!

XOJet or a King Air 350i PIC position with gama?? I have the CJO with gama already and am interviewing with XOJET. No doubt thankful for any opportunity, but I want to make an educated decision, which is tough when I don't know anyone flying at XOJET. TIA!

When do you have to respond to the Gama CJO vs. when is your XO interview?

I have to Respond to the gama CJO before the XOJET Interview... looks like it’s a binding agreement too.

I would definitely choose XOJet over Gama, you will enjoy a much better quality of life here flying a X or Challenger 300 over a KA350. We have had a few Wheels Up guys jump ship and come fly with us.
