We can't accommodate every request, but we've got a position at Headquarters that primarily focuses on processing vacation requests, certainly there is an understanding from management about the importance these requests have on QOL as well as Ops. Getting some additional PIC's on the line would greatly help alleviate some of the issues with granting requests!

Would more pilots solve this, or is a strict policy?
Let’s look at this scenario: Days 1-4 are normal, but you need Days 5-6 off, Days 7-8 are normal, too. Looking at the above posts, that wouldn't be approved.
HOWEVER, you are available to work a Day 9. That gives you 3 days on the tail end. Would that satisfy the policy hounds? Would Day 9 be paid as an extra day or would it be treated as a trade for one of the days off? In other words, you only burned one vacation day.

Interview again?
Hey all, this question is for the guys working there. I applied to AirShare around 6-7 months ago and went to the interview. I got a thanks, but no thanks letter in the mail about 3 weeks after the interview. I was interviewing for a captain spot with no ATP and no jet time. I can see why I was most likely turned down for better applicants. I since have gotten my ATP and I am typed in the phenom 100. Any ideas on when I should re apply? The job I took was/is a nightmare and has been from the beginning.
