Exactly guys, don't listen to trowser. He's an ignorant management cheerleader. You did the right thing. You'll make more in year 1 at a regional, with your hotel paid for, and the call to a real major will come soon enough. The pilots here are great (well, minus one, clearly) but the product is embarrassing. I was more proud of the product we presented the public when I was with delta connection. Indigo doesn't GAS about anyone here, believe me.
The call will come soon enough? Really?
You should open up a palm reading business since your so confidant of people you don't even know that, "the call to a real major will come soon enough". What's a real vs fake major? You either have the earnings or you don't.
Since your so embarrassed by the product you deliver how come your still here? Why did you leave Delta Connection?
Your telling other potential candidates to not bother and if I'm not mistaken it sounds like your still flying here.
How come your call hasn't happened?
The fact is we're in the middle of negotiating a new CBA.
Nothing more nothing less.
It's clear some on this board have never been through the process.
It's not a pleasant process, it's enduring, requires patience and solidarity.
This is a great pilot group with great things on the horizon, including a new CBA.

It looks like the new base will be philly!!! I was taking a look at open time and this popped up. I was able to grab a screen shot, the page auto-refreshed and it was gone. If I had to guess, it was a Sabre computer programmer checking his work and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time!

Pretty good 'in a nutshell' article. Be interesting to see how it all plays out over the coming years. Once Big 3's "new" passengers start putting gum in every seat-pocket, ledge or hole they can find, I'm thinking they'll wave off this strategy

Well for starters, it's you're, not your. And it's confident, not confidant. And I'm not the one belittling people for turning down class dates at Frontier, you are. And I have class dates with two other, more respected and better paying airlines, so I am leaving. I'll miss the people here, but not the Frontier way of doing business. Until management sees classes go unfilled and people leaving, nothing will change, until about 4 years from now when it's 11:59 pm on day 29 of self help.

Congrats on getting out of this dump! I'm jealous and I hope to be right behind you. I'm sitting in one of our crap hotels on a seven hour delay that keeps increasing...anyone who sees a quick resolution to any of our many issues is a fool. That's the only topic I agree on with trowserchili. Other than that, he or she is a management shill and will enjoy our industry bottom contract for the remainder of their career. Get out while you can!
