Thank you Sulkair. Really appreciate the detailed answer. I am in the ME right now with Etihad as an A330 F/O. Planning a come back to the US. Therefore adding up every cent & hopefully don't have to stress the pay. How long in your opinion will it take to make a 100k/ yr?

Depends on how long it takes to upgrade. If you got hired now it would be in the neighborhood of 3-4 years. You might be able to do it in your second or third year as an FO but that would require working overtime, sacrificing your vacation, counting your per diem as "income" and never being home in general.

I think a PHL or LGA pilot domicile would lead to us hiring street captains! And Denver upgrade will still be a decade+
