Sounds like a typical charter passenger.

You can be flying a Falcon 900, G550, or Global, and some schmuck will ask "Ever thought of being a commercial pilot?" or "Do you want to be a commercial pilot one day?"

Charter passenger = TOTD

LOL! I get that question all the time. I generally avoid telling people I'm a pilot for this reason-I don't take well to the publics general stupidity. Maybe that makes me a tool, but at least I admit it.

SO TRUE!!

Remember the day when you would tell anybody that you were a pilot? Especially in a bar! I avoid it like the plague now.

Age and wisdom changes a lot of things...

"So, do you have like a 'regular route' that you fly?"

Or, from the guy who knows everything about being an airline pilot simply:

"What's your 'route'"?

My next door nighbor is a mid 50's ish house wife who tells me she is deathly afraid of flying...and then I see her driving her Surburban around town at 50mph in a school zone, texting!!

When she asked, "Aren't you afraid of flying now, with all these terrorists trying to blow up airpalnes..." etc. I told her, "No, I'm afraid of driving, surrounded by a bunch of women who are texting!"

LOL! Nicely done sir! I remember one person telling me I should be in the military, because apparently being chased by a heat seeking missile is safer then being subjected to terrorists

I've never understood how people can be so afraid of flying, but so ready to do some of the dumbest jackass-style stunts I've ever seen on this earth-nevermind the way half of them drive.

Will we get to see a cockpit creation about this one?

Rock, can't say I've ever been asked what my route is. Considering I fly Metros to 3000 foot gravel strips in the middle of nowhere, Canada, I can't say it's a particularly glamorous set of routes to choose from.
