I imagine with the A220 we’ll eventually see red eyes on that fleet to max out utilization. It has the range and the fuel efficiency. Only time will tell….

Is it Premium Pay or JRA that does not show up in your “Credit Hours Due” total in Rainmaker? A disrupted pilot gets 5 hours at 200% (10 hours) but the “credit due” only increased by 5. I believe one of them just doesn’t show in the credit due but want to confirm if anyone knows. Thanks.

There should be a lower column, maybe labeled JRA? Below all the regular pay section w/ trips, per diem etc. It should be reflected in there. But doesn’t show up on your credit total I believe.

Looking to make JetBlue my home in the future! And have a few questions since it’ll be my first airline gig!

how does upgrade work? Is it seniority/merit of either?

Are there different pay scales or bonuses for those that attended Aviation Universities vs those that didn’t?

what is life like on reserve? How long can I expect to be on reserve and is there anyway around it?

How many days off a month is normal?

I appreciate all the insight and answers!

Seniority is based on GPA. If it’s from a top tier aviation university, you get a 1.0 grade point additive. Riddle flight team = an extra .5. Then there’s a formula for years of service, but most riddle guys with good grades only have to sit right seat until they hit 1,000 hours to upgrade. As to how long reserve is? Also GPA/college based. They want the best pilots flying, not riding the pine, so they don’t let riddle rats sit reserve. So expect a line right after IOE. Add $50/hr to the published pay scale for the riddle bonus.

I think that answers all of them. Welcome onboard!

Just a word about insignia. Riddle grads in the position of first officer have a silver Oak Leaf Cluster in the center of their wings. For captains, the cluster is gold.
