I agree that operational chaos and pressures can reduce safety margins. Pilots have done a great job keeping the operation safe and avoiding the unthinkable despite the above mentioned. That can be said for other airlines pilot groups as well.

I’m a reasonable happy person in general. My basic mentality is that I’m just happy to be here and not let anything bother me…. after all this is just a job. The last 3 days have really bothered me.
I have never seen an operation run as bad as ours has run for the last 3 days. Can’t contact scheduling, and when you call for an operational need, we get nasty grams about not calling scheduling. Stories of the company losing track of airplanes and crew members. Just a rolling dumpster fire in airline form. The worst part is that while the dumpster fire rolls on, we get NOTHING from management. Not “we are going to make it better” or we can succeed if we do X,Y,Z but complete and utter radio silence.
I’m not quite sure what our “end game” is. Clearly, this isn’t sustainable. How do we plan to stay in business? How do we move forward when we can’t even handle the next 2 hrs— let alone the rest of today.
for the first time in my time at Blue, I really do worry about our future as an airline.

There is speculation that merger is the end game.

This operation is completely unacceptable. Either they fix this BS or a merger needs to happen so this circus goes away forever. It’s so incredible they’re able to take a product like JetBlue and absolutely run it into the ground. Sad to think about what it could have been for customers and employees if it was run like an airline.

Maybe. I have friends that did.
Maybe you shouldn't be defending an operation where the line cannot contact the decision makers, the left hand literally cannot talk to the right hand, the feet, or the head. Where pilots are making decisions on incomplete information because they can't get the answers they need.
