It's a bummer. For a minute, I came around to thinking that SCR might be a good deal for local guys but the local guys take another hit (with the dwindling of day trips being the other major hit).

But our windows are industry leading.

Forget the fact the company owns all the flexibility

It’s industry leading.

Forget the fact that they are nearly useless All that matters is no one else has it.

Cause its part of the long term plan and all a place holder for the future.

I miss the fab 4

Not really once you got assigned a weekend it as virtually impossible to get a weekend day off. So not much change..

Not exactly true. On the FO side, if you’re in a new-hire centric base like JFK or BOS, it sometimes takes a couple IOE sign-offs to take a day from Red to Green. Flica alerts are your friend in those cases. Yeah in Long Beach, once Red it’ll stay Red.

You get to bid in seniority order now SCR or LCR. You will also eventually be able to bid premium open time pick ups based on your seniority.

Premium open time is first come first served isn’t it? (25.M.8.b)

VDA is seniority based, and 200%, but everyone will trip over themselves for 150% out of seniority order (cue the bot wars and flica masters), so we won’t see many VDAs imo, even with the chronic staffing disaster.

Is that, reserve balancing, feature still turned on? I thought they disabled that at least 2 years ago and you can no longer switch a red day with a even greater red day.
