Who knows what the upgrade time will be going forward.... guys upgrading now have been on property about 8 year ... in 2011 the upgrade time was 3 years.... in 2005 it was a year.. or less.... next year it could be 6 years.....
Its a moving target. Based on many many factors. But right now.. I would say 8 years. Guys recently who have upgraded at 10 years on property could have upgraded before but didnt.

Connie has bids out on aircraft (747,767) but not much is happening because Connie is a cheap SOB. K4 has gotten an average of 1 new airplane a year for the last 3 years. We were at 20 A/C at one time, now at 13. 3 classics are going to be parked real soon and all those guys have to retrain. The CP is telling new hires that everyone will be a CA in 2 yrs because we have "multiple twin engine aircraft coming". I'll believe it when I see it. Right now, upgrade is 8-10 yrs. Without an industry average CBA, K4 will continue to bleed. And those 75 yr old stubborn farts refuse to accept it.

As for the 76's, one has almost completed conversion, the 2nd goes in soon. 2 extra ones have arrived for parts only aircraft, and if we are to believe what we are told, closing on about 6 more.

Nothing about 737's that's K2's department. 74's and 76's on the other side of the street.

Unless they have changed radically, there are no technical questions. Mostly they will spend the interview trying to convince you not to come to K4. Then after flying the SIM if you still want the job and are willing to come after reading everything that you have on this thread you surprise them by actually showing up for the first day of class.
