On 2 separate threads, you keep asking the same questions, phrased differently each time, demanding answers that might better fit your social construct. You don’t like the responses, facts and figures, fine, believe whatever you want. If you believe that women are somehow barred from aviation, that flight schools and airline jobs are closed to minorities, why don’t you provide research/data to support your position, instead of demanding everyone else prove their‘s?

Theres no law against living in your own reality. Just don’t expect others to run down endless demands to ‘satisfy’ you.

I expect the training department at Atlas Air probably said the same thing. The FO that had no business flying, had been fired from multiple companies, who drove the 767 into the swamp went through all the certifications and check rides, right? Why did the Instructors sign him off, given the clear warning signs? Fear of being labeled racist?

These programs are high visibility and tend to be number-driven, sometimes with disastrous results. I would hate to work in the UAL training department with today’s Uber-sensitive climate, (quite sure they weren’t consulted).

Enough with the woke, cute optics. Hire the most experienced and qualified. Skin color and gender don’t matter, skill and experience do.
