Gojet!!!

I was in a GoJet new-hire class where 12 out of 16
of us were fired, and the chief pilot basically made up reasons why. (They only kept guys already current in the CRJ). We deduced that it was because Flightsafety did a bad job with our ground school. Cute huh? They treat people very badly. At our introduction to the Chief pilot he demanded someone step forward to be fired for saying something inappropriate, when none of us really did
Beware!

Beware!Yup, I have been here for about three years and have noticed that it turns into Trans States more and more every month. The Chief Pilot is an idiot in my mind and seems to be bi-polar. As long as you kiss his backside
like some do here..then you can do no wrong. But, if you don't they get you in recurrent training. However, I did learn alot from all of the furloughed AA guys here. They were great to fly with.
I do have to chime in with all of this crying and saying you will never move on etc... As I said, I have been here for three years and never have had any problem jump seatting anywhere. I also have never had anyone (if they do have a grudge) have the nads to say anything to my face about my place of employment. I have caught several TSA guys/Gals trying to "sneak" on MY airplane though. Now I go up to the gate while we are loading and look for these "alter-ego" stickers and if I find one I explain to them that while they are welcome on my A/C, their bag with that sticker is not and have them remove it. If they don't..the bag gets left behind. I have had a couple choose not to go but most of them remove the sticker. I have also had many of the TSA pilots that don't play this whole game altogether. They say hello, ask if they may ride and say thank you etc.... Just my .02 and experience over the last few years.
Flame on!!!

When is your class date? Why are you still here trying to justify your actions, do you have guilt? I thought you didn't care that most pilots will black list your if not officially, unofficially.... I thought I made it clear that no one is going to stop you from going to Gojet. Why are you still trying to get our approval by trying to sound like you know what you are talking about through your experience as a pt135 pilot flying a baron. Just say you want to fly that shinny CRJ700 and be over with it. What other reason could you possibly have since you actually already have a job?

No, I didn't "cross over" as you put it on 2005. I have friends over at TSA and the reason I know that GoJet turns into Trans States more and more is because I talk to my friends. They tell me what is going on over there and I share with them what is going on over here. I call it

On a side note, I have a few friends that are not only short on the multi time but are sitting right at 500 hours and are sure they will get hired on with GoJet because "no one wants to work there." Woops.

Hey! Good news: The CFI for a guy I know got a job with GoJet which means there will be an opening at his school! Single engine piston, here I come! Hopefully he doesn't wash out and try to get his job back.
Side note: I miss the ERJ but I certainly don't miss Trans States. Being furloughed is great!

realizes his time and skill are worth more than the wages he will get at alteregojets and he will get a job where he is paid adequately and treated like a professional. And maybe that will start a small ball rolling where pilots start to realize their time and skill are worth more than what companies like alteregojets pay, get over this mentality of "I will do anything to get this kind of office view" and slowly raise this career back up out of the depths of commonality with, and no offense, bus drivers and back up to the respected career it once was. I know, a lot to wish for, but hey, one can hope.... And Carl, sorry to hear you are on the streets. But at least you had the priveledge of being a Waterski.
