This whole thing is like a tragicomedy. It would be so funny, if it wasn't so tragic.
If you fly for a regional airline... you are GROSSLY underpaid, and have NO room to gripe at any other regional group for "lowering the bar" because face it... in the grand scheme of things, there is no difference between guys lining up at GoJet and guys lining up at any regional - your flying comes at the expense of much-higher paid mainline pilots. Before you tell me about how mainline "gave up scope" please bear in mind that if I applied your arguments, nobody should be lining up to fly a 50/70/90 seat jet for that chump change and if they do... they're replacement workers and should be shunned, denied jumpseats, looked with utter disdain, etc.
Let's see... mainline gave up scope, hence you have jobs flying across the country in "regional" jets for peanuts. NMB ruled that GoJet is a separate carrier from Trans States Airlines, hence there are good ALPA pilots from shutdown airlines flying there. Can we say.... hypocrisy?
Like I said.... tragicomedy.

No they wouldn't, not in the same way. Those guys that complained about TSA were 200 hour guys who complained that life was not as good as it was portrayed in those glossy flight school brochures and moved the first change they got. Skywest, RAH, Expressjet. Many missed the 12 month upgrades and some are furloughed. Granted, TSA hasn't done so well the last year either and it's not a top tier regional but it's in no way a place that is worth lateraling from or flying on the other side of the world.
