It's always good to hear what the ALPA apologists are down to arguing.

It's a good sign.

You know what Carl, it is precisely this kind of circle jerk that keeps me mostly away from this thread, and not surprisingly, disinterested in DPA. You have so much hate and vitriol in your heart for anything ALPA that all you can see is ANYTHING else regardless of merits or the dysfunction of DPA. Maybe I am a little over the top in this issue, but I am in single A ball, and you are in Yankee stadium when it comes to being out there. At least I can admit it. So I'll give you the last word since there is obviously no way that you would EVER believe anything I have to say. I certainly believe nothing you say anymore.

Interesting that you see it that way. I see it as reinforcement for the feelings I have toward Tim Caplinger and the DPA. One way or another, Seeham has infected that organization. Pathetic.

From the beginning here I've posted either actual facts, or my opinions based on facts. This in response to a coordinated attack by members of our MEC and their unelected bureaucrats. If you want to call that a "circle jerk", that's your right. But it sounds to me like you're a person who hates to be questioned or challenged.

Pointing out facts about our union is not hate, nor is it trying to divide the pilot group. Facts stand on their own merits. They may be painful to hear, but they don't go away.

And this is PRECISELY why I stated that you were disingenuous in claiming you'd consider DPA if they would only send you a signed letter backing up what is already stated on the website. I said you would find another excuse even if Tim did send you a personal letter. I was right. Because here you are talking about how this just reinforces your feelings toward Tim. And here you are talking about how Seham has "infected" the DPA. And here you are describing the DPA as "pathetic". All of these opinions are your right to have. But you were COMPLETELY disingenuous to ever suggest you'd be interested in DPA if only they would send you a letter.

See ya,

Carl

I appreciate your posts. I don't post very often but I'm always glad to see you respond. Facts are facts.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this whole "FPL" thing.
What is the rationale for our union guys getting paid by the company for union business?
Thanks.

Really? I'm trying to wrap my head around why you need that explained to you.

Union guys have a significantly higher workload and literally another job on top of their flying job. FPL is absolutely necessary for the union to function normally, and as such for the pilot group to be able to function normally. So FPL is paid for...
