Basically, the same as before except to be qualified, the pilot must have been based for the most recent 12 months out of either IAD or IAH. And, if a pilot transfers from one of those bases, they are no longer qualified.
Everyone then quickly noted that there were no IAD slots in the latest standing bid.

I know last year at Xjet that United was interviewing pilots at the 9 year seniority mark. I assume that has dropped at Xjet since United’s hiring has picked up and Xjet’s pilot numbers are dwindling rapidly.

Senior captains in IAH and IAD that meet United’s qualifications (that want to go back to flying in the right seat for United) must be doing cartwheels. For older pilots, an Xjet pilot told me United even took a 62 year old as a CPP hire.

Did they? I thought the delta program was just app review more often. Only thing I’ve heard is that the attendance policy is 1 call out a quarter.

Basically, what do we get beyond an application review and a call from HR for the CPP?
According to my buddy at SkyWest, Delta is supposed to review 20 SKW pilot apps per month.

What exactly is the United CPP attendance policy? That was supposed to be pravoided on June 1st.

I would prefer to see these airlines give more credit to time served under their brands.

No wonder Mesa didn’t roll out that policy. Calling out sick is the only way a junior pilot can get a line and get a specific day off. I always thought 25% of our pilots would qualify for CPP. Probably more like only 10% of our pilots qualify.
