So who’s going to explain to him what would have happened if ALV’s were increased? Here’s a hint, a 50% increase in ALV’s will result in 33% less line holders. That’s just simple math. But I get it, that’s probably a bit to “complex” to wrap your brain around MJ.

Line efficiency, dude. Set min credit to 80 hours, 75% of pilots would be on reserve.
Too complex for your little brain? I totally understand, bro!

Maybe it’s starting to sink in. UA seems good. But with newly agreed scope all of our planes are going to 70 seats. In addition their block hours will be reduced to 40 pct or less of 2019 levels. UAX block hours can’t exceed UA BLOCK. UA flying will decrease. Combined with the AA DECREASE in November and maybe you see the darkness. The thing is we have a ton of idle crj pilots and not so much on the ejet side. Now at some point we will have to displace. When that happens you may find yourself a jr ca or Sr fo. It’s the whole airline that matters.

Actually because of line inefficiency if you set the block to 80 then EVERYONE will be on reserve. The lines don’t support that level of block hours even on the ejet side.
