Some people were right some people were dead wrong (propellere). This MOU is good thing people. Go read that email and then come back and tell me saving peoples jobs isn’t the right thing to do!
What was I dead wrong about?

wonder if the company is going to send out notices mid vote to scare people. You notice the vote closes 21st inside of the 14 day furlough warning notice window. I bet they play that game. Scaring people into voting yes. Please. I’ll take my ticket and go get a better paying job while this bonus money is mine.

Every other word that comes out of your mouth is pure unprofessionalism that is meant to be troll. You’re entire attitude on life is wrong kid. This is probably your first “real” job and you used t complain about mowing the lawn and not getting your allowance from daddy. You’re wrong about all of this.

All I got from that was.... You can’t pinpoint what I said incorrectly, but will resort to name calling and throwing of insults. It’s ok, babyshark 😂

But seriously, some of us are actually down several thousand dollars a month already. Imagine going from 90hrs block/120 credit to 76hrs on CA pay. You have kids, mortgage, Car payments, etc. Your struggling to survive as it is, dipping into you personal saving and investments. And its not like we are not willing to take a further cut to save your job.

Voting No is not personal. But some of us have seen this song and dance or been here long enough to hear the stories. The language in the MOU is very vague leaving a lot up for interruption (and its done like that on purpose). Like the displacement/downgrade argument, will there be another vote in 90-days or will union decide on your behalf (bc they can), what if the PSP is called something else, should we take the company at “good faith”, if we do record a profit but JO increases expenses to offset, and splitting the pilot group over contract or type. These all set bad precedents. Especially in a contract year... Unfortunately, our union is incompetent and corrupt. The junior guys think its personal and its not. Some of us are trying to protect the integrity of what was fought so hard to earn before there is nothing left.

Is it not enough that we are the lowest paid, have some of the worse hotels, have no PDC, no auto atis, no auto closeout, no digital weather, have to supply our own Ipads and mounts, outdated EPIC loads, or that the company consistently violates the contract to save money on personal. At what point is the company not already getting a bargain
I couldn’t agree more. For a recent hire, unemployment is about the same as the MOU, so a furlough isn’t a show stopper. For those of us who’ve put in the time, we have earned the right to say no to this. If furlough is in the cards, 90 days isn’t going to make a hill of beans difference. Vote NO

There are many things all of you “adults” can do to help out others that got into this industry at less fortunate times. Propellere? If you’re so negative and hate our ceo our mec and your fellow pilots just leave. If 8 hours is the deciding factor to go deliver boxes then go. I guarantee you probably got into this career cause you heard flight attendants are hot. And since they haven’t looked twice at you, you figured you’d get more love and attention from that amazon cardboard box grazing your fingers. Get outta here. You’re immature and a stain in the Mesa workplace.
$300 can be a game changer for those making less. Just thing about the FOs who only take home $2k per month. A decent apartment in just about every city is over $1k per month, tack on utilities and insurance and someone is at at least $1250 per month, throw in a car payment and insurance and they are now at $1600, assume all food is purchased and packed(no Uber eats) and that’s at least another $250-300. So now we are at $1900. Assume they put their entire bonus towards student loans they will will still have at least $100 per month. Now they have no room for a $300 cut. Depending on state with the current $200 extra one will qualify for between 4-600 per week on unemployment, they will make just as much on unemployment without having to pay for crash pads while sitting on reserve.

What are you not dead wrong about? ATP loans? Once again..irrelevant and none of your business..but I paid off my college loans a decade ago..While I’m guessing you were still going potty in your diapers. Where is it you think this fictional flying that is causing JO to bluff is coming from exactly? Have you noticed people haven’t been approved for VLOA next month yet when it’s been approved on the 10th every other month..maybe because...they may not be here? All part of the elaborate bluff? You have a lot to learn about life. You have literally offered nothing valuable here. People are getting sick of your immaturity as well. Don’t you have a box to throw somewhere?
