JO is definitely betting one or two more companies go down. He wants to have pilots available immediately to be able to pick up a contract for long term flying. If he gets the place to pre covid reserve numbers he won’t be able to do that. This is where the new Mesa financed ejets come in, or our 700s that are owned outright. I don’t know the status of the new ejets, and it will be interesting to see what goes down the next few

I’m on the chopping block, I’d rather get chopped than sit reserve for the next six months.
Why wait? Quit NOW!

Doesn’t change what I said. Mesa controls them.

I'd be sick if I was going through what those pilots are going through, too.
That's what I thought too. Yet most pairings there look like Mesa pairings. IAH LGA ain't Xpress.
CLT RSW MSP MTY IAD, those are all ejet routes.

Perhaps Mesa failing pilots on AQP? Who knows.

Just because you signed on to be here forever, doesn’t mean all of us have. The deal was, low pay for quick upgrade. Now that the deal is off the table, a lot of FO’s are going to bail.

By the way, when all of the FO’s quit, who do you think is going to be the FO? 🧐 Haven’t thought that one through, huh? Still remember the right seat flows? Hahah

IF the government goes back to 600 a week extra unemployment then they likely do a PSP/CARES 2.0 and it's a moot point anyway.
You are correct, one won’t receive as much on unemployment without the cares act money. But a Mesa FO Who gets furloughed then decided to work at Amazon will make more money than one on 68 hours of Mesa pay. Toss is commuting to Mesa and getting furloughed is a lot better on their budget. Not to mention if pay is less than $2k per month if any benefits are taken so I didn’t include health insurance as someone taking home $2k has elected to not have insurance.
