Try looking at what you said to me the other day. About how uneducated I am on history..my opinion is laughable and blah blah..I won’t bother to go on. Do I sound like I’m pro union to you somehow? Because I’m sure not right now! And you tell me I’m talking out of two sides of my face? You didn’t answer about voting it down..you felt the need to tell me I need to educate myself how things work..last I checked..we don’t get a vote on a temporary MOU..

And just fyi..it’s you’re upset..and in your previous post..it’s buy more time..we all make typos..but come on man.

You will probably still vote it down? So that makes you a union rep🤔
What is your problem? Being downgraded, losing lines, bad commutes and everything else involved in this are legitimate concerns. When a CRJ captain can’t hold his seat anymore and bids over the the 175 are you going to have a problem with too? This doesn’t just effect the junior F/Os it impacts everyone but the most senior.

Oh..And as far as JO..he’s the master at blowing smoke and telling people what they want to hear. And even he didn’t have much to say other than..he’s “hopeful” of a lot of things. The numbers are what they are. It’s pretty obvious..the pax aren’t coming back until there’s a vaccine..if we have to buy time in 90 day increments..we do..can we do it forever? Of course not..but when can for 3 months..maybe 6..guessing the vaccine will be around right after election time..I actually think he doesn’t want to furlough. I think he was telling it straight when he said he’d still be “eating” some of the costs..I do believe he does want to mop up whatever he can get if others fail..and he can’t do that with 40% of his pilot group dequalified.

The point..not problem..is that everyone is dead set against a deal until they realize it directly affects THEIR life. The point is..whining about losing a line or having a harder commute when other people are losing their jobs..health insurance..house?..kinda hard to feel sorry them.

You technically are not employed yet. Just lie low.

I dont believe I every called you uneducated, but said look back on the history of concessions. And when I said you were talking out of both sides of your mouth I was referring to a pivot you made in a argument with someone else on here. But thats neither here, nor there.

Like I said in my post then I dont trust the union and dont want to create a bridge between temporary and premanent. Bc I dont know about you but I have yet to get a copy of the full MOU or its language. Like I said if we could have protection in the MOU against things like downgrades or a further extension then I would be more inclined to side with you. But I know JO and our union reps and the moment its signed they will have us by the balls. Honestly 30 hrs of pay is not worth the fallout but I need guarantees before I can get there mentally.

No need to feel sorry for them. But at least recognize they are legitimate concerns for them. Depending on how long someone has been here their concerns will be different.

When people vote for an elected official or new laws in our country do they vote for whats better for the guy down the road or for their particular situation?

I get you. And don’t disagree a bit. I never advocated for open ended anything. There needs to be a date on it..And if flying returns to x prior..ten hours across the board..I get why senior guys won’t go for that..but the tiered..maybe. The guys hurting the most here..besides those completely furloughed obviously..are the downgrades..and if no downgrades..no furloughs til x date..it needs to at least be seriously looked at..not voted down without a thought because no concessions ever. That’s all I’m saying..and all I ever said. Buying time for 3-6 months doesn’t destroy the industry..it’s already destroyed! (For now)

If you aren’t part of the MEC you aren’t voting.
